The Procurement Manager is responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services at the most competitive prices. He/She oversees supply chain management and procurement, possibly on a worldwide scale. Also Performs a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed, Manage Project development from initial to closure
Summary of essential job function
•Be accountable for Project results along with Project.
•Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task
•Provide a Project Schedule to identify when each task will be performed
•Clearly communicate expectations to team members and Stakeholders.
•Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout Project life Cycle.
•Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved with Project change
•Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which may include contractors, sub-contractors and
•Track & report on Project milestones and provide status report.
•Lead, coach and Motivate Project team members on a proactive basis.
•Determine how results will be measured & complete a Post-Project evaluation to determine how well results were
•Develop tools and best practices for Project execution.
•Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
•Bringing about optimum utilization of resources (labor, materials and equipment), and ensuring their procurement
at most cost-effective terms.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering either civil, mechanical, electrical with a minimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent representative experience; Detail oriented, highly organized with excellent communication skills.
